I was hoping to be able to earn some money to fund my website expenses instead of coming out of pocket for it every month like I have been.

Well, no one bought it.

I was really bummed about it, too, but I tried not to let it bother me. I mean, I am brand new to the music scene, somewhat.

Anyways, I was watching a livestream of a woman who works with music artists and she stressed the need to give music away for free if you're just getting started or wanting to build your fanbase. I was thinking about what she said and applied it to my own situation. As I'm just getting started, I realized it would be better to give my song away for free instead of having people pay for it as I am a new artist.

So, here is what I decided…

To get my song, Jammin', all people need to do is give their email address so I know where to send it. When they enter their email, They'll also be signing up for my email list, though people can choose to unsubscribe at any time.

So, that's it for now.
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/71726622023-03-16T10:45:43-05:002023-03-16T10:45:43-05:00Get excited! I dropped my first release!!
Do you have a dream or a goal that you've been sitting on for awhile? There's no time like the present to start making that thing happen, you know. For me, it was releasing my music to the word. Well..

I have great news! I have finally released one of my songs! I had recently wrote another song and decided to just go ahead and release it. Mind you I didn't do any kind of release campaign to build up momentum for it. I just jumped the gun and went for it anyway. I learned how to convert a Garageband file into a mp3 file, which wasn't that hard to do, and I posted it on my website with a ‘Buy’ button. I officially posted the song the night of February 27, 2023 so I could that was it's official release date, but I told the world about it the next day, February 28, 2023. Talk about ending the month with a bang, right?

You wanna know how many people bought the download so far at the time of this post? None…Yup, that's what I get for not doing a release campaign. I'm disappointed of course, but I know I‘ll get sales eventually. I mean, it’s a new song that was only posted on SoundCloud and not even for that long before I decided to release it as a download. So, it's not like alot of people knew about the song, but I was hoping the buzz from ‘Kaleidoscope’ would carry over and create a desire to finally be able to buy a song from me. Lesson learned.

Note to self: in the future, always do a release campaign. I don't have time to promote something that doesn't already have buzz behind it. I admit, I was impatient and when I was sitting on a mp3 I could finally share, I just jumped into it and released it.

Shameless plug: You can buy my song, Jammin', on my website right now. And if you get it now, I'll give you 'Kaleidoscope' when I release it! Release date to be determined.

Have you listened to ‘Jammin’' or bought it? What's your thoughts on it? Remember, I'm just getting started here….
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/71267142022-12-21T19:04:44-06:002023-03-16T10:25:59-05:00Is This Real??
Have you ever gone after a dream you had and felt so accomplished when you saw your dreams coming to life? The feeling that told you that you're not doing all that work for nothing. That you have a real chance of building the life you want for yourself and your family. That you can make a real difference in the world doing what you love to do.

Over and over again this year, my mind has just been blown away by the growing number of people that has listened to my music. The emails and messages I get from new fans saying how much they love my music and has shared it with others. Fans asking how they can buy my music when I have nothing to sell yet.

"Your music is really worth listening to daily. I'm looking forward to the new songs..."

"Today your N1M page has been distributed to all my social accounts. Let's raise your army of fans! Your music is worth listening to and definitely worth buying."

"...I've been listening to your music for the last couple days non-stop. I played your music for my friends at a dinner party and everybody instantly loved it!"

Then there's the number of times my untitled GarageBand song has hit #1 the past two years on N1M.com's Minnesota Electronica chart. It doesn't even have a name yet, and people are falling in love with it!

I truly means the world to me to know that what is so deeply ingrained in me (wanting to create music) is something that I can express in so many different ways and have it be received well by others. I mean, I would still create music if I was the only one who could ever hear it, but to be able to share it and have people live it just makes the creating process much more satisfying and rewarding.

What dream are you working towards right now that you're gaining traction in? Or is there a dream you haven't worked towards yet out of fear of failing or something else? I'd love to hear about it. You can comment on this blog post and I will respond! I'm cheering you on towards the life you want to create for yourself. If I can do it now in my mid 40s, you can make things happen, too!

Til Next Time

Olivia
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/69589372022-04-28T09:50:07-05:002022-04-28T09:50:07-05:00When Your Dreams Are Verified....
I have a question for you.

Have you been too scared to make your #1 dream come true because you thought you'd fail?

I was like that too for awhile, but my feelings of regret for not trying was far greater than my fear of failing, so on a whim, I posted a song on Soundcloud.

I composed it on my iPad using GarageBand.

The song has no name.

It's not professionally recorded.

I just posted it to see what would happen...

Well, last May, I got an email from a website I had never heard of before, N1M. My Untitled song debuted at number one on their Minnesota Electronica chart!!! I don't even know how the song ended up there! I was shocked to say the least.

Fast forward to last week, my sogn hit #1 AGAIN on their Minnesota Electronica chart!

And to make things better...

It STAYED at #1 THIS week!! WHAT??!?

Needless to say, I am so grateful for all the support I've gotten. If you've heard my song already, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you haven't heard it yet, what are you waiting for?

Here's the link to my Untitled song on N1M.

I'd love to hear what you think of the song. How does the song make you feel? What comes to mind when you listen to it? This can help me finally give the song a name!

Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/69360412022-03-30T13:41:42-05:002022-03-30T13:41:42-05:00Your dreams are waiting for you…
Do you have a dream you have yet to bring to life? Why haven’t you done it yet? Out of fear? You don’t feel worthy of having it? Do you have a fear of failure? Let’s talk about it.

Did you know that fear is all in your mind? Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. What do you really have to be afraid of? So what if you fail? Wouldn’t you rather try and fail than to get to the end of your life, never to have even tried to live the life you truly wanted? I don’t.

Do you feel unworthy of having that dream come to life? Why? You have a birthright to live a life of happiness. I know there’s people who can come at you and tell your crazy, they don’t think your ideas will work, or you should just “play it safe”. The worlds biggest players didn’t “play it safe”. That’s how they rose to level of greatness they achieved. What if Oprah never got her own show? What if Kobe Bryant when to college instead of going pro right out of high school? We may have never known who they were. We wouldn’t have felt the impact they made in their professions and on the world. Not to mention, they would have never lived the life of their dreams had they not pushed themselves to be the best in their chosen industries. Don’t you want more for yourself? I do.

I held back on my dreams because of a combination of things. The fear of failure was one of them. Feelings of unworthiness was another. Timing was a big issue because I was raising a family and didn’t feel like I could do both so I put my dream of having a music career on the back burner.

I want you to realize that these are very different times we live in now. What was difficult for people back then is very easy for them now with the help of the Internet and social media. You can get feedback on your ideas more efficiently. You can reach more people and get the word out. You can advertise better. Thus, you can realize those dreams you have faster than you would have if you were just making phone calls and mailing out flyers and reaching a smaller audience.

What one dream do you have that you’d love to come to life before you leave this world? What barriers do you feel like are holding you back from making it come true? I truly believe that if everyone could find their passion and go after them, the world would be a happier, more peaceful, and safer place. ❤️

Remember, your dreams are waiting for you…
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/65463242021-02-10T18:00:00-06:002022-05-30T02:12:46-05:00Finally Making Progress!
So much has happened in my life, I don't know where to start...

I guess I'll just keep this short for now, and with good news...I'm making progress in my music career!

So, it started with me creating an Instagram account for my music last year. I thought it would be best to have a regular place to post since I don't have a Facebook page anymore. I believe it was there that I came across a business coach named Antonia Moore. She posted that she had a free download for a 90 Day Launch Guide. I was like, "OK, it's free. Why not?" I signed up for the download.

I got the download emailed to me. As I learned more about Antonia, I found out that she was creating a music course about getting started in the music industry. She was charging a really low price as this was a brand new course and her first ever! I couldn't pass it up! I decided to buy the course!!

I just started the course last week as that was when the course became available. It's going for 8 weeks, as she unlocks a new module in the course each week. I'm so excited to go through this course, as I get to learn how the music industry has changed since I was studying it years ago. The whole landscape has changed. The internet is a big component as to how musicians reach their fans and get discovered.

I plan on keeping my blog updated as to how things go. In the meantime, I'll also be posting to my Instagram account if you want to follow my journey there. Eventually, I'll be getting back to emailing on the regular, too.

Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/56532662019-02-21T10:31:54-06:002023-03-14T15:04:53-05:00I've Got Some Sad News...and I'm Sorry!
Having my own music career is something I've wished for most of my life. Unfortunately, my life's circumstances have kept me from moving the needle forward. In an attempt to simply my life, I deleted my music Facebook account and my Facebook music page in the beginning of this year. It just didn't make much sense to keep them going when I'm not doing much with them. When I feel more ready and prepared, I will start a new Facebook page but it will go through my personal Facebook account, currently under the name Olivia L. Boone.

Music has always been an important and sometimes even instrumental (no pun intended) part of my life. It got me through some really rough times when I felt I had no one to turn to...

Know that I will be keeping up my website as it is mine and I still pay Bandzoogle every month to keep it going. Any new developments can be found here and on my personal Facebook account, but mostly here just to separate the two and keep fans coming back to my site.

I really feel like I owe all of my fans and friends who've followed me on this journey so far an apology. I know when people come out on the internet "promising" something new and great and you build up anticipation for it. Well, for me its just been a weak heartbeat throughout the years...When I get into a better position, I hope to tell you about my struggles but for now know that I'm ok and I'm NOT giving up on this!!

In the meantime, I am continuing to run my handmade business, Liv4Friendship. It's been going for over 6 years now and I love it! I needed a way to make money from home to earn extra income for my family and be with my kids. Of course, they're now grown and my youngest started college last fall!! So, I'm earning money to pay bills, and send my 2 kids through college now!! (My son is in college, too!) To support my business, you can visit my Etsy shop here.

If you haven't seen it yet, I have a newer song I posted on Soundcloud that you can check out here! You can follow me there, too.

Til next time, I'm wishing you love, peace, and happiness today and every day!
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/37755762015-07-13T08:55:07-05:002015-07-13T08:55:07-05:00It's been awhile! I've missed you!!Hello, friends!
I know it's been awhile. I've missed you all. Time has a way of getting away from us. Then the days and months roll by as life keeps throwing things at us, taking unexpected turns for the better and the worst. I've been busy raising my family and working my day job as a school bus driver. Now that it's Summer, things have slowed down a bit, but life still goes on.
So, I know this is a music blog...so what's up with the music, you ask? It's been put on a hiatus. Sometimes in life there's things that just overwhelm you to the point where you can't think about much else. I am saddened I couldn't give my awesome supporters more of what they truly wanted in a more timely fashion. I don't want to go into detail on my life events, but i will tell you I have had to do a lot of soul searching and exploring of my own down some different paths to see where I want to end up before I'm laying on my death bed looking back on my life.
There's no doubt I want music to be a part of this, but its hard to create and give to you like I want to when going through hardships of my own.
I want to make you a promise, if you promise to stick this out with me. I want to go back to monthly blog posts, and updates for you all. I'll keep this site running and keep you in touch with anything new.

Love you all!

Olivia LynnOlivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/2802842013-01-14T07:49:22-06:002013-01-14T07:49:22-06:00Five years and running...It's been five years ago this month since I first started my music career online. Do you remember Myspace? That's where I got my start. If it wasn't for the internet bringing the world closer together, I'd still be sitting on the sidelines...I admit, the whole process of getting my career together has been slow, but when you think about all that an indie musician has to learn just to be sucessful, it does take some time. You have to be a "jack of all trades" because you're not only writing the music and performing, you're also a promoter, a web designer, a merchandiser, a blogger, just to name a few. I certainly can't afford to hire people to do these jobs for me. I don't have the doe! So, if you think I'm procrastinating on my CD project, you're wrong. I just want to make sure I get this right! ;-)
So, it's 2013! My plans?
I want to professionally record my first song by Summer!!!
Wanna help? You can send me a donation to help cover the studio costs, mastering, etc. I plan to have my first download FOR SALE by then!! Just look at the bottom of my home webpage and you'll see the yellow donation button. Click on that, and you can donate via Paypal or (I think) by credit card.
Til next time...

For some time I have wanted a way to make money on my own without punching a time clock or worrying about a schedule. I've wanted to start my own home business. After some thought I decided to go to a long time hobby of mine, making friendship bracelets! I learned how to make them when I was in middle school thanks to a friend of mine. I opened an Etsy store back in August called Liv4Friendship. If you would like to support a small business, remember your childhood days, or are looking for a gift for a tween or teen (as it seems to be most popular with that age group), you can click here and it'll take you directly to my shop!
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/714862012-11-08T04:15:00-06:002017-01-14T12:52:08-06:00How New Age music changed my life
New Age music has always been a major part of my life from the time I was 13. It's also been a big part of who I am. The interesting thing is the music found ME before I found IT. I had already spent my childhood playing songs by year and even composing on the piano at home. When I was 13 I asked for a keyboard for Christmas. I figured this way I could play the piano any time I wanted without the disturbing the rest of the family. To my surprise, I did get it for Christmas!
Playing on my new Casio keyboard gave me a new way to compose with all the diffferent sounds it had to offer. I started composing songs with more electronic and synthized sounds. This was a kind of music I had never before on the radio or anywhere else. I thought maybe i found a new kind of music. I loved it so much, I decided that composing music was what I wanted to do with my life. I would compose these piano and synthized songs and play them for the world. One fateful day, reenforced my decision....
I was at my friend's house one day and my friend suggested we listen to Yanni's Keys To Imagination CD that she had borrowed from the library. The cover alone looked like it would be interesting to listen to, so I said, "Sure". When I heard the CD, I was surprised by what I heard. It was the same kind of music I was trying to compose at home! She knew little about the artist when I asked her, but I knew right then and there, that was the kind of music I wanted to compose for life! My first Yanni album I owned was In My Time.
Over time, I grew to become familiar with other New Age artist's music. I got into the habit of browsing the New Age section of music stores, just to see what other kinds of music like Yanni's was out there. I usually went by the album covers and the names of the songs, since I knew nothing about them. That's how I found great artists like David Arkenstone, Patrick O' Hearn, and Tangerine Dream. I had bought one album by each of them over the course of some years, and I was hooked! I discovered Jim Brickman's music listening to the radio. His romantic piano music was so beautiful and soothing. I have almost all of his albums and his sheet music books now!
I listen to New Age music differently than I do R&B or Pop music. Yes, I love those genres too, but New Age music seems to reach a deeper part of me. Down to my soul. Sometimes you don't need words or fancy beats to truly express your emotions, plus, without words, you can listen to it anywhere around the world and still be able to understand it.
What kind of music speaks to your heart and soul? You can tell me below this post. Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/2118822012-09-10T05:10:00-05:002017-01-14T12:52:09-06:00September, 2012: the trailblazing women I follow; new career changes
Summer kept me busy working and taking care of the family, as usual. I feel like I'm always on the go!! Begin a wife, mom, and working outside of the home full time takes a lot my time and energy. For awhile I wasn't sure if I could pull off trying to start a music career on my own. This is a question that many moms face in their lifetime when they want to switch careers. Many moms question wether or not they can make a career and still take care of their family. I've read about many mothers who left their cushy regular jobs and started their own home businesses from scratch. It gives me hope and encouragement reading about these women who turned nothing into something- and sometimes something BIG! Some end up making more money than they did at their regular jobs! I would love to see that kind of income, though I know that takes a lot of time and hard work.
To be a sucess you have to live like it. As a believer of this, I have been following a few women online, some being moms. I urge you to click on their links and read their full stories. They really are inspirational!
The old saying goes," When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" This means you should make the best out of what you have in life when things go wrong. It's important to keep a positive attitude. I know that's so hard to do when things go wrong. I'm struggling right now, which is why I haven't written in awhile. I've been updating my Facebook and Twitter profiles though.
So...it's Summer!! My two oldest kids, my stepson and his half brother, have graduated from high school! Two kids down, and two more to go!! LOL Summer also means that my work schedule has changed. School is out so I'm working on summer hours, which doesn't even start for me til July! I'm currently looking for a second job to get me through.
Inspiration has always been a problem for me. It seems to come and go so quickly. I've been working on it though. I listen to inspirational and/or motivational music every day. Some of my current favorties are as follows:

In The Middle by Isaac Carree (contemporary gospel)

Go Get It by Mary Mary (contemporary gospel)

Bravo by Ledisi (R&B)

Striving by Dave Hollister (contemporary gospel)

I urge you to click on the links to listen to these songs or search for them online later. They are sure to lift your mood and make you feel better about things. I also save positive pictures and quotes to my IPhone. I hope to make some slideshows and post them on Facebook, or maybe even here, in the future. I also sing, write, and so on. Talking to people close to me has also been a huge help, so if that is you, THANK YOU!!
I know things have been going very slowly here, but now that I have more time on my hands, I can focus more and put a plan together that is sure to bring more of what you've loved to hear so far! I'm looking forward to sharing more of my music and inspiration with you.
If you haven't signed up for my emailing list yet, you can do so on the home page of this website! I'll keep in touch with you personally when I update blogs, work on music, and so forth. I may even start making video journals exclusively for my subscribers, so sign up now so you don't miss out!
Thank you so much for spending some of your time with me today! Remember you can also keep in touch with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube! Before you go, leave a comment below and tell me what you're up to this Summer. What helps motivate you to keep going when things get rough?
If you look up New Age music artists, you will find that the majority are white males, or whatever their nationality is. Next are white females, or whatever their nationality is. As for me, being biracial, I find myself being a rare gem in the New Age world. Even if you try to google black pianists, and female at that, you'll only come up with a handful of names. I know, I tried looking myself. I wanted to see how rare I was in this vast and growing market of music. Yea, I feel pretty rare!
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/1477322012-03-13T18:00:00-05:002021-12-30T22:38:36-06:00March, 2012: Working on music
Over the weekend, I was working on a song that I started writing back in 2004 called Kiss the Sky. It's a slow song, mostly played on the piano. I can't wait for you guys to hear it when I'm done with it!
I also have another song I'm working on that's more upbeat like Realize. I don't have a set name for it yet, but I'm hoping to get it finished so I can share that one with you also.
I'll keep you up to date on what I'm working on, and any new videos I may be putting out in the future.
Til then, keep working towards your dreams, for you are the only one that can make it possible!

Olivia Lynn
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/1407682012-02-16T01:08:12-06:002012-02-16T01:08:12-06:00How Whitney Houston influenced me I was going to write my blog post this past weekend and as I heard the news about Whitney Houston passing away, I decided to change it up a bit.

Whitney Houston was one of my favorite singers. I own some of her sheet music such as the Greatest Love of All and one moment in time which I learned to play in my youth. I had her first album on cassette and enjoyed singing along with it.

Looking back on it now, I realize she was one of those artists that didn't try to sell sex appeal. Though she was a beautiful woman, she didn't wear revealing clothes or pose half naked in photos. Even her lyrics were clean, at least until she did Waiting To Exhale, but even then, it wasn't extreme. Growing up, I heard nothing about her battle with drug addiction so I always had a picture in my head of her as a perfect person. Had I have found out as a child, her image in my mind, would have been tainted.

I was very saddened and in disbelief when I heard the news of Whitney passing. I had to google it to find out if it was true. I listened to radio stations and tv stations tribute to her all weekend, playing her music and videos. It's kinda like when Michael Jackson died; you just can't imagine the world without them.
Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/1357812012-01-24T17:54:35-06:002017-01-14T12:52:09-06:00January, 2012: Happy New Year!Happy New Year!! I know, we're about three weeks into it, but I want to wish you joy and happiness this year.
If you haven't seen it yet, I wrote a long note on my Facebook profile. I invite you check it out and comment on it. If you're not my friend on Facebook yet, I would love to have you! I just celebrated four years being online working on this music career. The progress has been slow, but I'm determined to kick it into high gear this year! I'll keep you informed as to my plans...
I've currently been working on the details of my first CD project. How I want it to look, which songs I want, etc. I may be asking for your opinions from time to time so be watching my posts and tweets!

My favorite season, though it only means Winter is coming. Minnesota was so unkind last season with all the cold and snow. I hope for a more mild Winter. I've heard it's not going to be. Just my luck...
So, I'm back on my day job full time. Once I can get my bills chopped down I hope to get another digital camera and get some nice pics of myself and post them on my websites.

As I said before, I have decided to start my career off with a two song CD instead of eight. It's better on my bugdet, and I can get my music, and my name, out to the world sooner. Then the money from those could help fund my CD.

My motivation has been compromised over the years to this project. I have a family that drains most of my money and free time so I have little extra to play with. It's been getting my spirits down to ever get my dreams of a music career off the ground. Over time, I've been bouncing back. I want this so bad and to those that are reading this, and have checked in with me reguarly, I thank you so much for your continued interest and support in my slow days. For you, I promise to pick up the pace now that things in my life are getting back to normal.

I'm thinking since it'll take some time to try to make an 8 song CD off the bat, I'm going to cut it down to a 2 song CD. That way, I won't have to raise as much money for a project and I can start my career sooner. Get my foot in the door, so to speak. Romantic Twilight will be on there for sure. I'm debating about the second song. I'll let you all know when I come up with more.
As soon as I can get back on my feet financially, I hope to make some more videos. I'm thinking of making some vlogs, too.
feel free to comment about any thoughts or questions you have.
Til next time...

Olivia LynnOlivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/1092162011-08-16T07:55:00-05:002011-08-16T07:55:00-05:00August, 2011: My writing side job, a possible Fan Funding Campaign??As Summer winds down, I wish I could've worked more on this project. My day job works me less in the Summer so I don't have the money to do what I want. My instruments are "in jail" AKA the pawn shop. Its really frustrating when you want to do something and don't have the means to do it with.

In the meantime, I'm keeping up with people on Twitter and Facebook and checking the news in the music industry online when I'm at work or at the library since I don't have a computer at home.

I would like to mention, I write parenting articles for Examiner.com. I am the Minneapolis Elementary Years Parenting Examiner. If you are a parent and would like to read more, you can click on the link to read my articles. Its a side job, though it doesn't pay much. I'm trying to get more articles out and increase my readership. As a parent myself, I have seen kids go down the wrong road and it saddens me. If we, as a community, can get more parents involved in their children's lives and get more kids on the road to success, the world would be a better place.

So as work picks up and I can get regular paychecks again, I am thinking of doing a fan funding campaign. Though I don't have much to offer right now since I'm just starting out, I'd like to ask you: what would you like to get if you were to contribute to my campaign? I've been viewing other sites and I've seen autographed pictures and hand written lyrics offered. Free tickets to shows or private house concerts. It could be something as simple as a handwritten thank you note! SPEAK OUT! Tell me what YOU want! I'm listening...Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/1053292011-07-11T04:24:59-05:002011-07-11T04:24:59-05:00July, 2011:being an indie musician, accepting donationsDear friends,
There seems to be a steady stream of fans and friends visiting this page. I'm so happy about that! I do wish the numbers were higher, but when I have more to offer, I'm sure they will!
In the meantime, I've been surfing the net looking for resources for indie musicians. You seem to be able to do so much on your own these days. You don't have to sign up with a major label. In fact, I hear big labels want you start out on your own and build a following so when they look to sign you, they'll know what they're working with! That's fine by me. I'm not looking to get signed to a big label though I wouldn't complain if one came my way. I'd be happy with being a local celebrity. I'd travel around Minnesota and maybe expand across the Midwest, if I had a big enough following. For those outside of Minnesota, it would take longer to set something up.
My regular job, as a school bus driver, gives me more free time in the summer but not much money to live with. If I had the means, I would travel in the summer and do shows, once I can build up to that point. For now, I'm taking care of my family the best I can in these financially lean months.
If you would like to help me keep building this dream of mine, you can send me a donation. Look on the front of the page where the social media buttons are (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and you'll see the yellow Make a Donation button. Click on it, and it'll show you how you can contribute! If you are already a friend of mine on Twitter or Facebook, I'll know it was you who sent it, and I'll give you recognition on my music pages!! These donations are currently helping keep my website running, which I have to pay a small fee per month.
Well, I gotta run. If you want to keep up with me, you can subscribe to my mailing list. You can sign up at the top of my home page. I'll write you to keep you up to date on my latest posts and news.
Working on my own, I have to constantly put myself out there for the world to see. If I don't do it, it just won't get done, and then I miss out on potenial fans and eventually customers. With my personal life keeping me busy, sometimes I work late into the night just so I have some quiet time to get things done. Yes, I lose sleep, but when I see the end result, I know it will be well worth it!!! Olivia Lynntag:olivialynn.com,2005:Post/988152011-05-02T19:03:25-05:002011-05-02T19:03:25-05:00Overwhelmed, but thankful!Oh my gosh! Since I started this website I've had 86 visits to date! They came from across the United States and abroad! I have gotten nothing but great responses from people about my music. I can't tell you how much that means to me! It just affirms the feeling that this is what I want to do with my life. I can't wait to put some more songs up. I got my keyboard and camcorder for now so I hope to put one up soon! thanks to all who've supported me this far. I still have a song called "Realize" that you can listen to on my Facebook and Myspace pages. Just click on the buttons on this site for whichever one you want to visit. Realize is a more upbeat song that I composed on the keyboard a few years back. Since I was 13 years old, I knew that I wanted to earn a living as a musician. Raising a family had set my dreams back some years. I had to get a real job and make money to take care of them. Now the kids are older and I can focus more on realizing my dreams. I got my websites up and getting my songs out here to the public, to help me gain momentum. I have big plans in the future, and I'd be so happy to have you here with me along the way!Olivia Lynn
